Applications
Inspection chambers and manholes are the access and junction points of a drainage network. A prefabricated PVC chamber arrives ready to connect, which removes days of bricklaying and the leakage paths that come with it. The watertight body keeps groundwater out and effluent in, and PVC does not corrode in foul conditions, so the chamber outlasts a concrete equivalent. Typical duties are estate and road drainage, stormwater systems and foul sewer access.

03Ordering & specifying
How to specify PVC Manholes.
- 01Select the chamber by depth to invert and the number and size of connections.
- 02Specify inlet and outlet pipe sizes and angles for the junction.
- 03Choose the cover and frame class for the loading (foot traffic vs road).
- 04Confirm the available chamber sizes and configurations with our team.
Not sure which class or size? Ask our engineers, and we will confirm the spec for your project.
Key benefits
Prefabricated and watertight, no in-situ masonry
Lighter and faster to install than concrete
Corrosion-free in foul and stormwater service
Standards & certifications
Manufactured to standard, tested to confirm it.
This line is manufactured to Prefabricated PVC, with quality control at material intake, in-line dimensional checks, hydrostatic testing and batch traceability.
We state conformance only for the lines we manufacture, and present products as built to KEBS-referenced standards. Where a KEBS mark applies to a line, the certificate is shown on the quality page.

05Frequently asked
PVC Manholes, questions answered.
Why use a PVC manhole instead of masonry?+
It arrives prefabricated and watertight, so there is no in-situ bricklaying to build, cure and seal. It is lighter to handle, faster to install and does not corrode in foul conditions.
What connections can it take?+
Inlets and outlets sized to the drainage pipe, set at the angles your layout needs. Tell us the pipe sizes and we will confirm the configuration.
Can it take road loading?+
With the correct cover and frame class for the location. Specify foot-traffic or trafficked loading and we will match the cover.
