Applications

PPR is the plumbing system inside the building, where HDPE mains hand over to risers, branches and fixtures. Heat-fusion welding makes every joint part of the pipe, which removes the weak points that threaded and push-fit systems carry. It handles hot water without softening at its rated class, resists scale so bores stay clear, and runs quietly. Typical duties are domestic and commercial hot and cold water, building risers, and warm-water process lines.

03Ordering & specifying

How to specify PPR Pipes.

  1. 01Choose diameter from the fixture demand and flow for each branch and riser.
  2. 02Choose the pressure class for the duty: PN20 and PN25 for hot water, PN10 to PN16 for cold.
  3. 03Specify fittings (elbows, tees, reducers, valves, threaded transitions) for the layout.
  4. 04Joint by socket fusion with a heating tool; transitions to metal use the threaded inserts.
  5. 05Confirm the available size and class range with our team.

Not sure which class or size? Ask our engineers, and we will confirm the spec for your project.

Key benefits

01

Fusion-welded joints are as strong as the pipe, no threads to leak

02

Rated for continuous hot-water service

03

Scale-resistant bore and quiet flow

Standards & certifications

Manufactured to standard, tested to confirm it.

This line is manufactured to ISO 15874 and PPR-C, with quality control at material intake, in-line dimensional checks, hydrostatic testing and batch traceability.

We state conformance only for the lines we manufacture, and present products as built to KEBS-referenced standards. Where a KEBS mark applies to a line, the certificate is shown on the quality page.

05Frequently asked

PPR Pipes, questions answered.

What standard is PPR made to?+

ISO 15874 in PPR-C material. Sizes and pressure classes follow the standard's series.

How is PPR jointed?+

By socket (heat) fusion with a hand welding tool. The fitting and pipe melt together into one homogeneous joint, with no threads or rubber seals at the connection.

Can PPR carry hot water?+

Yes. PPR is rated for continuous hot-water service at its pressure class. Use PN20 or PN25 for hot lines and risers.

What sizes are available?+

Typically 20 to 110 mm for plumbing and distribution. Ask us for the exact size and class range, plus the matching fittings.
